Answering Our Doubts & Fears

Doubts, fears, and often a lack of assurance assail many Christians. We may ask why these afflictions come upon us. We can however take heart that those who are truly the Lord's may resolve upon the fact that they cannot be lost. They will persevere to the end, because what God has promised He will fulfill. Therefore be encouraged, press on, endure, and believe the promises of God, for Christ's death on the cross was most certainly effectual in the salvation of sinners like you and me.
