An Angelic Message

An angel appears to a gentile called Cornelius and tells him to go to Peter as he has the words(the gospel) were by he can be saved. The angel does not preach the gospel to him but rather directs him to a believer(Peter) who could tell him the good news of the saving gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ.

Rev. Ken Elliot looks at three aspects on this angelic message

1. THE EXPERIENCE IT PROCLAIMED
   i) Saved from hell and saved for heaven
   ii) Saved from sin its contamination and its control
   iii) “Saved” A term God, Jesus, the angels, the prophets and the apostles all used.

2. THE ENLIGHTENMENT IT CONTAINED
   i) The Person the Lord Jesus Christ
   ii) The witness, all the prophets give witness of Him
   iii) The Lord was crucified and rose again
   iv) You must believe and receive

3. THE EMBRACE THAT IT POSSESSED
   i) You personally can be saved
   ii) Your family can be saved
   iii) All your house can be saved
