"Almost thou persuadest me to be a Christian. "

i)The Matter With Which It Was Concerned

The declaration concerned being a Christian.He knew what a true Christian was.

ii) The Means By Which It Was Caused

Paul's testimony caused the declaration.(see all Ch 26)

Paul's past Conduct,Conversion,Commission,Confession,Claim,Contnuence,Climax of his message & his CHALLENGE "believest thou..."

iii) The Marks With Which It Came

a)Marks of Hopefulness
Paul knew that Agrippa believed many of the things he had heard.

b) Mark of Apprehensiveness
There was hope,("almost" persuaded) but yet there was danger.Are you thinking about being saved? Don't linger-there is danger in so doing.

"I would to God, that not only thou, but also all that hear me this day, were both almost, and altogether such as I am, except these bonds."

i) How earnestly it was expressed.

Paul longed for the King to be saved.Many people are praying for YOU to be saved too!

ii) How Comprehensively It Was Directed

Not only to Agrippa but to all that were there.Paul had a big net-the mark of a true soul winner

iii)How Sincerely It Was Felt

He wanted them to have the joy that he had "except these bonds"

v30 "The King rose up"-we don`t know about the King-we can know about YOU! Repent & accept the Lord Jesus as your Saviour-two souls did as a result of this service at Bethany - To God Be The Glory !
