Divine wisdom that God wants for His people is defined as the skill to know what pleases God and to fear displeasing the Lord. God only grants this kind of wisdom and He only grants it to those who pursue it in the Word of God.
The pursuit of wisdom to believers today is critical because of the age in which we live. Romans 1 clearly describes our times. Due to the rejection of God and His ways, God has turned this culture over to a reprobate mind and foolish thinking.
