The Promises of God

"For all the promises of God in him are yea, and in him Amen, unto the glory of God by us" II Corinthians 1:20.

As we look at this wonderful and comforting declaration, we first consider the promises of God are sure because of who God is. God is immutable and cannot life. Then we see the promises of God are sure because they are kept through His Son. The promises concerning our salvation are sure because they made so by our Lord Jesus Christ. All the promises of God are yea and Amen—yes, yes. Let us come with our burdens, with our weaknesses and He will be glorified by us as we trust Him.
