There were men who had infiltrated the churches at Galatia and dooped the people, by putting them in bondage to the law. They taught a gospel of works salvation. Paul heard of this and He adamantly defended the gospel message. He was zealous for the faith in the Son of God. He therefore sent letters to warn those in the region to hold fast to faith in Jesus Christ alone.
