Rebelious Israel and the Faithful Servant

In this, the 3rd Servant Song of Isaiah there is a contrast between rebellious Israel and the despised and rejected Servant of God. Jesus did indeed fulfill the requirements of the office of Jewish Messiah, thus He is justified to return as her reigning King. He experienced suffering and shame at he hands of the people, so shall we for just belonging to him.
