To Love God with All of Your Heart

The Lord Jesus loved God His Father with all of His heart, and soul, and mind, and strength, and because He had this perfect love, He submitted to the Father's will, and went to the cross to die for our sins. What was it that led the Lord Jesus to the cross? It was first of all because He loved God with all of His heart and soul and mind. 2nd – Because He loved His neighbor as Himself. And 3rd – Because He offered up Himself as the sacrifice that went beyond the whole burnt offering. I am sure that our exploration of these reasons will be a help to those both in the kingdom and not far from the kingdom.
