The purpose of this chapter is to show how true worship and the truth of Christ's atonement is to be preserved, kept and jealously guarded from all that would detract, pervert or marr it. The question concerning the significance of abstaining from blood in the OT, and the real virtue of Christ's blood shed in the NT is looked into.
