Guiding Principles for our study:
1. God's covenant is of Divine Origin, to fulfill a Divine purpose, using Divine means
2. God's covenant is uniform throughout eternity and can never change in essential character.
3. Because we are time-bound and progressive in our learning (not so with God), This Covenant is progressively revealed, and diverse in its administration.
4. The purpose of this diversity was preparatory – to train and to tutor.
