God Uses Alexander the Great

We remember great men of history like Alexander the Great. But the Scriptures foretell of their coming at God's choosing, proving that God uses even the greatest historical events to unfold His sovereign plan for His chosen people. Even humble people like the nation of Israel in Babylonian exile. Thankfully, for you and for me, God's work in and around our lives is not predicated on our goodness but on His promises.
