The message today is title: The Parable of the Sower Applied. Jesus continues teaching us and them about the nature of the Christian Faith.

God is sovereign and men are responsible. How and whether we hear and
heed will reveal the purposes of God.

The Principle lesson of the Parable of the Sower? Christ demonstrates the varying affect of Gospel preaching.

As we look at the various components of the Parable, there is always the balance of not emphasizing part at the expense of the whole. While Jesus tells of the varied outcomes of faith (types of soils), it should not be viewed deterministically... God calls his people to faith and repentance. The prevailing question for us is do we hear and it and will we listen.
