We will be looking at the resurrection of Jesus from the dead.
What is the place of the resurrection in the gospel?
How did the resurrection affect the disciples?
How does thed resurrection affect us today.

First, the resurrection is the gurantee that justification is 100% complete. All our sins were atoned on the cross.

Second, the resurrection transformed the disciples from scattered, fearful individuals into a unitied, fearless testimony to the risen Lord. The Jews claimed the disciples stole Jesus' body - but that story could not stand up to the actual appearnce of the risen Lord to more than 500 people.

Third, the resurrection can have this same effect on us today - making us fearless witnesses to the resurrection. We belong to the risen Lord, what can man do to us?
