Prayers of the Church Triumphant

What a gift Christ has given to His people that they might in this life and in the life to come speak, plead, even intercede on behalf of the Church and the furthering of His blessed kingdom. Here in the unfolding of God's revelation to men, John beholds a sight so glorious and even instructive to the Church that we should carry around in our heads and hearts everyday as an inspiration and pattern for our how we feel about the nature of Christ's taking victory, and the habit we are to have in prayer for Christ's victory on earth as it is in heaven. If there is one thing that unites the church militant (on earth) and triumphant (in heaven) it is that we are both people of prayer, committed to filling up the measure of Christ's victory with expressions of power that usher in the dawning of a new age, the age of the Spirit, the age of the Messiah.
