Seeing Things as They Are

When we look at what wisdom is according to Scripture we find that it is a combination of both godly character and experience gained from living. It requires character for experience alone is not enough It requires experience for character must be forged under providence. The wisest among us then are those who have lived and in their living have learned from the Lord both humility and reverence. Do you wish to be wise, then attend those places, do not avoid those moments, but rather embrace the end of all men - death, and in so doing learn how to live.
