Romans 12, Lesson 14

In light of what God has done for us, we should offer our bodies as living sacrifices. If we are to be obedient to God, we must do so on a physical level and not just on a spiritual level. God calls us to be living sacrifices and therefore we must die to ourselves. God is in charge and He cares about everything that belongs to Him. We must not let the world squeeze us into its mold. Our goal should be to be like Jesus. We are supposed to be leading people to Jesus, therefore we must be obedient to Him. God’s word is what renews our minds. We must study the Bible. We cannot experience God’s will if we are not willing to have our minds renewed. We need to write God a blank check every day. God’s will is good, pleasing, and perfect. God knows better than we do as to what will make us happy. Christian conduct is a grateful response to what God has done for us.
