Striving With His Strength

Unfortunately, synergism (The combining of 2 things to make a third, or the combining of 2 powers to accomplish a greater work than either could have accomplished on it's own) is probably the pervasive view among evangelicals today when speaking of our works for God's Kingdom. So often Christians will imply that God needs them to carry-out or accomplish "their" part of "good works" in order for God's will to be done in the world. The reality is, that we only are what we are and we can only do what we do through the power of God ALONE! "But by the grace of God I am what I am, and his grace toward me was not in vain. On the contrary, I worked harder than any of them, THOUGH IT WAS NOT I, BUT THE GRACE OF GOD THAT IS WIITH ME." (1 Corinthians 15:10, emphasis added). Listen as Pastor Geoff rightly divides the word!
