Slipping Away from the Mind of Christ

Still seeking a quiet place to instruct his disciples, Jesus warns them to watch out for and beware of the teaching of the Pharisees, but the disciples don't understand his teaching at first, because they have slipped away, mentally, to natural things - lunch! We must guard ourselves from false teaching, but we must also discipline ourselves so we can focus on spiritual matters.
