Transformation in Christ - The New Humanity and the Identity of God's People, Part I

Being the Last Adam, Jesus Christ is the progenitor of a new humanity. Even as He is preeminently the Man of the Spirit, so all those who are participants in the new creation in Him are men of the Spirit. What Jesus is in His consummate, glorified humanity, they are becoming. But He is also the True Israel and, therefore, the True Abrahamic Seed, and this is foundationally important for understanding the identity of God's covenant people in the present age of fulfillment. As the first of several messages examining this topic, this sermon considers the Jew/Gentile dynamic in the Church and its implication for Israel's fulfillment in Christ.
