Nebuchadnezzar's Babylon was the head of gold; The chest & arms of silver was the Medo-Persian empire; the belly and thighs of brass the Grecian empire headed by Alexander the Great; the legs of iron was the Roman empire and the feet of part iron and part clay is the revived Roman Empire. And the stone that smote the image? The stone is Christ and His kingdom.
