Jesus is summoned to the home of Mary, Martha, and Lazarus for, "he whom thou lovest is sick"... This is perhaps one of the greatest sign miracles before the death of Christ on the cross. Jesus delayed his trip to Bethany and Lazarus died and all this was "but for the glory of God"
