God works all things together for the good

In good times and in bad, God is in control and works all things according to His own purposes and for His glory and our good. Furthermore, He has called us to seek Him in prayer and to render praise no matter the circumstances. “Trust in the LORD with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct your paths” (Proverbs 3:5-6).
