After Arius had been excommunicated from the Church and exiled from Alexandria, Arius began a letter writing campaign to friends and enemies far and wide. A couple of those letters were preserved by the historians. These letters show us that Arius was, indeed, a two-faced and evil man who was very skilled at disguising his true intentions.
