Faith That Saves: Mind, Emotion, & Will

Grass that never greens is dead. So are trees that never leaf out and flowers that never bloom. Look around this time of year and see God's creation doing what He designed it to do -- live! And so it is with redeemed sinners. We've been created anew in Christ Jesus to bear evidence of the life of God within us. James calls such life signs "works" and insists that a profession of faith without works is hollow, lifeless, dead. James' words are a sobering challenge in our age in which many profess to be Christians, yet live without evidence of God working in and through them.
