Sin is a terminal disease, so don't neglect the Gospel cure God has provided, through Christ (Hebrews 1:1-4, Hebrews 2:1-4)
The Scriptures attest in many verses that Jesus came to save His people from their sins. So, who are His people? His people are the "whosoever" (John 3:16) who believe in Him.
