Beware of Depression

We all battle with our flesh, our fallen-ness and our feelings. In his closing sermon to the disciples, and to all of us disciples to come, our Lord gave some dangers that would rob us of the joy and strength and hope, of expectancy.
Mark 13:7-8 And when ye shall hear of wars and rumours of wars, be ye not troubled: for [such things] must needs be; but the end [shall] not [be] yet. 8 For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be earthquakes in divers places, and there shall be famines and troubles: these [are] the beginnings of sorrows. (KJV)
Mark 13:7-8 When you hear of wars and rumors of wars, do not be alarmed. Such things must happen, but the end is still to come. 8 Nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. There will be earthquakes in various places, and famines. These are the beginning of birth pains. (NIV)
