The path of blessing

When everything else is changing, God does not change, and the relationship his people have to him does not and should not change.

Psalm 106 sets before us the way of disobedience, which is a path of misery, and the way of obedience, which is a path of blessing. This happy way is walked only by those who know God in his goodness, mercy and power, and are full of thankfulness and praise toward him.

Such an apprehension of God motivates us to keep justice and do righteousness at all times, even under the present strange circumstances. It makes obedience our lasting delight.
