Cultural Progress & Spiritual Degeneracy

Jehovah sent Cain away from His presence for killing his brother Abel, and established him in Nod. Cain's descendants became numerous, they became greatly skilled in the arts and sciences. Cain's descendants received many good tings from Jehovah: yet, in all their cultural progress Cain's descendants did not choose to retain the knowledge of Jehovah. This line of men became a vain and degenerate brood: they ultimately filled the earth with violence.
