The One (Part 2)

We continue in our study of "We've Been Expecting You" III, the second coming of Jesus Christ, by following material in the book by Greg Harris, entitled "The Stone and the Glory." "The One" Part 2 is such a strategic section in understanding the person and work of Jesus the Messiah. When John the Baptist is imprisoned, he sent his disciples to Jesus to question Him regarding if Jesus really was the coming one. John actually had good reason to do this from a biblical standpoint. Jesus answered His beloved prophet with words John the Baptist would understand perhaps better than anyone at the time--especially as it relates to Jesus "the Shepherd, the Stone of Israel" (Gen. 49:24).
