Exodus 2:1-25

Exodus chapter 2 introduces the baby Moses and then the adult Moses of 40 years of age. He forsakes his place of royalty among the Egyptians to join his Hebrew brethren, but in protecting one of them he kills an Egyptian. This forces him into exile among the Midianites. We will look closely at the events that sent Moses into Midian and see how it is that God prepares to take His chosen people out of Egypt and into the promised land.
