He Descended

Easter 2021 - Palm Sunday Message - He Descended - Eph. 4:9; Phil. 2:5-8. Christ as Head of the Church and the Giver of Gifts rules over the church by Divine Right in that not only is He God in human flesh, but when it comes to His Church, they are His because He gave Himself for her. In doing so, Paul tells us that Jesus descended into the lower parts of the earth - a phrase that has caused much confusion and when abused by heretics has sowed much misinformation about the crucifixion into the church. In this message we look at Christ and what He accomplished on the cross and what it means that He said from the cross, "It is finished!"
