In the Last Days, Some Shall Depart From the Faith

"There is in us a kind of madness, for our lusts pass all measure, and cannot be satisfied, and following upon that, burst out into open rebellion. No matter what God does, we will not be bridled, nor be held captive under his hand. Behold two notable faults which are to be found and seen in our nature. The one is our fickleness and wandering heads; the other is our rebellion and stiff necks, in that we will in no wise be subject to God.
