Living in the Kingdom

I was confronted with a verse to guide believers in living in this very dark and evil age: "Rejoice in hope, be patent in tribulation, be constant in prayer" (Romans 12:12, ESV). Hope refers to the promises God has given that are not yet realized. This hope enables us to endure patiently the tribulation and trials we face in this present age. The rejoicing and the enduring are sustained by vigilant prayer.
