Four Faithful Young Men in Babylon

When the Babylonians exiled some of the best of Judah to their land, they sought to assimilate them into Babylonian culture, to essentially strip them of all that made them Israelites. They changed their names, sought to change their diets, and ultimately, sought to change their God. But Daniel, Hananiah, Mishael, and Azariah would not defile themselves. They remained faithful to Yahweh, who protected them and blessed them.
