James White, director of Alpha & Omega Ministries (website: http://www.AOMIN.ORG) & representing Christian Answers versus James Akin (also known as Jimmy Akin), a Roman Catholic apologist for the organization called "Catholic Answers" on the topic of Predestination. This debate took place on Larry's radio broadcast called "Christian Answers Live!" hosted by Lee Meckley.

James Akin has authored several books on Catholic apologetics, evangelization, liturgy, and controversial issues. He is also a primary contributor to "This Rock" magazine and has appeared on radio and television defending and explaining the Catholic faith. This is truly a showdown between Christian answers versus Catholic answers since Christianity & Roman Catholicism are not the same.

The famous 19th Century preacher C. H. Spurgeon once said, "Men will have God everywhere except the throne." Men replace God's sovereignty to make His own decisions with mortal man's "decisions" to decide what God will have to do for them instead. According to man-made theology man is sovereign over God's decisions by way of man's "free will". But is this what the Bible really teaches?
