Intro to Sermon on the Mount

we begin what will most certainly be a lengthy study into this wonderful message. The Sermon on the Mount is one of the most well-known portions of Scripture in the entire Bible. Having said that, it is also one of the most abused portions of Holy Writ. Never has there been a more misquoted, misapplied, and misunderstood portion of Scripture as this.
This teaching has been welcomed and received by even many false religions of the world. Many of the tenets set forth in this sermon have been embraced by many various and differing religions. Though they must misapply it, for this teaching will lead us to the Father.
