The Unmatched and Gracious Wisdom of God

The Unmatched and Gracious Wisdom of God.

Come journey with me through Matthew, Isaiah and John to get to the root of Mark 4:10-12 and the beauty found in Romans 11 of the unmatched and gracious wisdom of God.

Why in Parables?

"But when He was alone, those around Him with the twelve asked Him about the parable. And He said to them, "To you it has been given to know the mystery of the kingdom of God; but to those who are outside, all things come in parables, so that: 'Seeing they may see and not perceive, and hearing they may hear and not understand; Lest they should turn, and their sins be forgiven them.'" (Mark 4:10-12)

The Jews would not hear, could not see and should not turn and be healed and saved. Why? The eternal wisdom and purpose of God to open the door of faith to the gentile world. Salvation is a God thing — from start to finish — and as many as He will call, both of Jews and Gentiles, shall be saved.

(Romans 9-11 ; Acts 13)

John 12:37-41 and Acts 13:26–52 ; Acts 28:28 and Romans 11:28-36 will help us pull and tie these truths together.

They WOULD NOT (THAT)

THAT... that is, what Isaiah said would be fulfilled. The prophet was baffled about who would hear and who would the arm of the Lord be revealed. Salvation is totally a God thing and is not anything natural man can do for himself. God must work in every aspect of salvation for it to be of God.

They COULD NOT (BECAUSE)
God blinded, sealed and covered up what they would not believe.

They SHOULD NOT (BE ABLE)
