The field of theology that considers what the Bible teaches about “last times” or “last things” is called eschatology. It's a big word, but eschatology is not just for scholars and pastors. Everyone thinks about the future and therefore everyone has an eschatology, whether they are conscious of it or not. It is important for you to think about last things, and to think about them biblically, because what you think about the future affects how you live in the present. Bad eschatology leads to bad living.
