Christ's Absolute and Ordinate Power

42

Today I would you to think about Christ’s ordinate power in accomplishing His Father’s purpose; to ‎go to the cross and to die in the place of all of His elect people. Because He was God made manifest ‎in the flesh, He had the power to lay down His life, and power to take it up again. This He received ‎from His Father. We see here that the Lord Jesus was in perfect subjection to the will of His Father ‎in laying down His life, and He was perfectly fulfilling the purpose of the Father in His rising again ‎from the dead. ‎
