God's Immutable Decree

Does God use all for His purposes? How did Joseph give God all the glory before Pharaoh the most powerful ruler in the world at the time? Was Joseph worried about getting Pharaoh mad? How is the ‘heart of the king in the hand of the LORD’? How do we see that God works through means? Was Joseph conscious of the fact that everything was exclusively under the LORD’s control, and nothing is random? Why must God’s children be brought low before Christ is revealed?
