Putting the Breaks on the Gas Tax

On the first segment of the program today, I will air a conversation I had yesterday with Dave Schwartz - Director of Americans for Prosperity. We will talk about AFP's efforts to inform South Carolinians about the proposed Gas Tax. The first component of their campaign is a web ad entitled "Let Us Down" informing citizens of Sen. Larry Grooms proposal that includes a 120% gas tax hike. According to AFP, the SCDOT is seeking to divert $5.3 Billion from road projects for mass transit, bus line and bike trails.
