The True Nature of Biblical Gospel

205

This is the Bible Study being held at the University of Lethbridge every Wednesday Night at 5PM at the Level 11 of the Library.
Right now, we're studying the True Nature of the Gospel according to the Book of Mark.
And, Who really Christ is according to Mark as he presented the VALIDATION....

March 26: Chapter 6
One of the highlights which trigger a real intrigue is found in v50,
Mark 6:50 for they all saw Him and were troubled. But immediately He talked with them and said to them, 'Be of good cheer! It is I; do not be afraid.'
'It is I' this English translation is from the original Koinei Greek:
'e-gow ei-mi'
ego-a primary pronoun of the first person, 'I'
where,
eimi- is a first person singular present indicative, in the prolonged form of a primary and defective verb, means 'I exist'
Where, the correct rendering in English is 'I am'
Note: here is Ryan's note in the pdf file, 'Þ In 6:50, a literal reading of the Greek is, “Have courage; I am; do not be afraid.” In the OT, the most oft-used designation for God is Yahweh, which in Exodus 3:14 is “I AM.” In fact, when Jesus uses the same construction in John 8, the Jews seek to stone Him for blasphemy. Very clearly, then, Mark is communicating to us just who Jesus really is.'

This is really exciting to take a note of Marks Gospel in 'bird's eyeview of even in '15mm wideangle lens'
