Jesus' Good Confession

As Jesus had not shrunk from declaring before Caiaphas, the high priest of Israel, and the Council of Elders, that he was the Son of God whom they would see seated at the right hand of God and coming in power on the clouds, so he is not bashful before Governor Pontius Pilate to declare that he indeed was a king, in fact, the king of God's kingdom, not an earthly kingdom. Paul refers to this example of Jesus' "good confession" in 1 Timothy 6 in his charge to Timothy to keep unswervingly the commands of God to lead a holy life.
