12. A Unified Holy Temple

Paul closes chapter 2 with powerful summary of the unity of the local New Testament church at Ephesus and all true local churches of Jesus Christ. The importance of a holy unity of the Lord's churches can never be overemphasized in our times of unholiness and false and heretical unity. By the same token, our adversary ever seeks to divide and destroy true and holy unity in churches, families, nations and any decent institution God has ordained for good and order. He, therefore institutes chaos wherever he finds good order. God's churches have a blessed and holy unity innate in them, but also having the propensity to grow within them. How differently refreshing than this world of hate and division.
