In Returning & Confidence

Here in these words, the Holy Spirit would teach us 3 things to apply to ourselves in our own struggled with life in the complex sin-damaged world that we live in.

First, our salvation from sin and the consequence of sin may be found “in returning and rest.”

Secondly, we can find strength to face the trials we will experience in our Christian life “in quietness and in confidence.”

Thirdly, let us be aware of how of how we do unreasonably refuse this simple solution provided by our gracious God.
