The Unity of the Church is more Important than the United States - 1

In a sermon that many will find controversial -- Bob Curley reminds us that the gospel comes into every culture and every age, not just America. The changes that teak place in a Christian do not come to make us more patriotic Americans (which it very well may do) but to make us more like Christ -- and so that we can affect whatever culture in which we live.

Politics involves compromise -- by its very nature. Christianity demands commitment to Christ, and our first alligence is to Christ and his church -- and secondarily to our government.
