The Fellowship of His Sufferings

Speaking on the evening of Resurrection Sunday at a family home fellowship in Riverside, California.

1. That we may know Him: the Gospel of Christ and who He is; for this particular point, who Jesus is through the Last Sayings upon the Cross.

2. That we may know the power of His resurrection: that the same resurrection power of the Father, Son, and Spirit raising Jesus from the dead is what 'pricks' our hearts and raises us to newness of life and sanctifies us daily.

3. That we may know the fellowship of His sufferings: we join the Lord in the very sufferings to know that to be with Him is much better, yet we have a period of time where we must be on this planet rather than in His glorified presence.
