A Call to Holiness

When I study Peter’s first letter to these Jewish believers who are facing persecution, I am thrilled by His diligence in sharing what God through Christ has done for them. By this he motivates them to stay true to their faith and not falter or turn back. Not only because of what they have but also because of what the future holds he encourages them to not conform themselves to their old desires but to be holy in all their conduct. This same message should also urge us to pursue holiness with all our energies. We truly serve a great God. May God bless those who listen.
