Many Convincing Proofs

The eleven apostles were in a state of shock and fear after the resurrection, and consequently had three very pressing needs:
Conviction – that Christ Jesus really and actually arose from the dead.
Instruction – to be reminded and re-taught all they had learned before.
Power – the needed to be supernaturally transformed into mighty men of God
The Lord’s activity between the resurrection and the ascension were directed toward those needs.
