The One (Part 1)

We continue in our study of "We've Been Expecting You" III, the second coming of Jesus Christ, by following material in the book by Greg Harris, entitled "The Stone and the Glory." The title "The One" from the book and from our sermon today and next week comes from the number of different times "the one" shows up in our text. John the Baptist knew he was the forerunner of Isaiah 40:3; previously, his father Zecharias knew his son was "the one" of whom both Gabriel and the Scriptures announced.

This is part one of two. Next week we pick up a crucial "the One" in reference to Jesus and John the Baptist.
